Hard Varnish or Oil recommendation for kitchen worktop

Hi all

I am looking to sand and re-varnish my kitchen wood worktop.

Ideally, I am looking for a hard gloss look, I have used Ronseal Ultra Tough Hardglaze Internal Clear Gloss Varnish on the window in my loft, I love the gloss and hard finish but it turns the wood to more of a yellow tone which I don't prefer, I would like more of a brown or natural tone, photos of the worktop attached. Any recommendations on wax or oil?
