Dullness depends on the sheen you purchase, Saicos HardWaxOil comes in 4 sheens: ultra-mat, mat, satin-mat (most popular) and high gloss

Maintaining your wood floor needs to be done every 4 - 5 months, but not with HWO. Use a suitable maintenance product for this (either a polish or solid wax). Done in 10 - 15 minutes

It doesn't matter which brand of HardWaxOil you use, the maintenance should not be done with HardWaxOil but with a suitable maintenance product, like Saicos (VOC free)
