Am looking to order some hard wired blinds from a US company to the UK (unfortunately no UK ones seem to offer what I'm after)

They give the choice between 12V DC and 110-240V AC.

I assume both options would be fine in the UK but 110 - 240V AC would be most straightforward for an electrician to wire straight into a fused spur when they are installed?

Yep it sure would but if you have a fused spur why not do it yourself?
