Haus Spin!

Hi All,

I have a Haus Washing Machine (Yes I know not one of the better makes but I only gave £50 for it at 4 months old) Bit too much I think now I have seen the internal quality of the machine.

Today my son loaded it with washing, (overloaded it) and it now is stuck on the spin cycle. I checked the trap at the bottom front and found a 5p coin in there. My thoughts are that he failed to check his pockets before loading his trousers into the machine and something has got jammed in the pipes. Last time there was a problem with the machine not emptying, I found a hair tie wrapped around the pump impellor.

Only a trickle of water came out of the trap so I think the spin cycle is complete but it is not moving on to the next part of the program. Any ideas as to what the problem is, at this stage are gratefully recieve before I start pulling it apart.

It may just be that the electronics detected an unbalenced load so wouldnt spin have you tried a different load ?

Yes, I switched off the machine at the mains, unloaded alll the washing, closed the door, switched the machine on again and it runs and runs on the spin cycle without stopping. So tomorrow, I will pull it all out, put it on its side, check the pump and pipes and anything else i can see. Could be that a connection has vibrated loose. I will report back.

I have given up on my Haus washing machine. I changed the pump, the level sensor, had the motor off, checked the controllor board for dry joints,etc. Still remains stuck on a spin cycle and all the controls are disabled. Spent hours on the forum looking for answers but most problems seem to be that machine will not empty or will not spin. Found nothing to explain my problem. I plan to buy a new machine and dump the old one.
