head light

Be there first thing in the morning..
As long as the guy is on the early shift, the big stores have a few trained.

Just a point of interest but Halfords etc will only change bulbs if the car is 'conventional' type. For example, Renault charge £110  to put a bulb in a Modus as the whole front has to come off. Halfords won't go near that and who could blame them.
John :)

on a lot of cars the headlights have to be removed, hence the outrageous prices, nice to know the designers have kept even a basic problem in the hands of diy.....NOT.

Yes it is ridiculous that a straight forward job such as changing a bulb is becoming a complicated task.

The motoring organisations should be pushing for a change in the regulations to ensure lights are constructed and positioned in such a manner that a bulb can be changed in a matter of minutes by an average person. Its a health and safety issue particularly when driving on dark winter nights.

Come on manufacturers, think of the motorist on this occasion.
