Can anyone tell me if it will affect the hot water pressure if I change my old galvanized header tank in the loft for a smaller header tank which would be mounted one metre higher. I know that raising the tank will increase the head of water, but because the tankhas a smaller capacity will that make any difference. Several of the galv tanks have rusted through in my street that is why i want to change it

No your pressure will increase due to the height, the capacity wont affect pressure, just the amount of water you can call on at any one time
