I am changing heat exchanger manifold on my baxi main 30 he a system boiler. What kind of silicone sealent I should use between the heat exchanger and manifold… I have new manifold… cw all new gasket and rubber ring. Or do I need to use any kind of sealent ?

I want to drain the Heat exchanger… on main 30 HE system boiler. Am I correct to do is empty the pressurized vasel and use the draining plug on the manifold, instead of draining the whole system. I have megaflow for my hot water.
