Ripped out an air source heat pump yesterday

2nd one we have taken out in the last 2 months

Also in the new year a land lord we do a lot of work for is considering taking out 4 in his new build rentals ????

probably installed wrongly

sadly the UK heating and plumbing industry dont know how to install them..........we have an industry which has been installing condensing gas boiler for years, using flow rate temperatures that mean the boiler never condenses

Im not blaming installers I think its the customers, the govt, the training, the manufacturers etc etc

although, I would say it is pretty difficult for a heat pump to compete against mains gas, but would against oil

As this net zero policy is going to introduce additional tax on boilers, and probably ban them all together one day.
Would it be prudent to buy a new boiler now and keep it boxed and await the total failure of my 10yr old Worcester Bosch boiler?

Told you - world governments just give heat pumps - solar- EV cars - everything for free, create the money to build it and fit it with the press of a button. Until then its money making scam.
