Heater matrix

I have a 5 year old Peugeot Partner van.

Heater matrix is leaking, any one ever changed one of these as a diy project? I understand dashboard has to be removed?

The parts are cheap at around £40 but labour from local garage is over £200

with most, the dashboard removal is only required to make it easier. It's usually possible to do them without with lots of wiggling and bendy arms while working on your back.

Being french though, who knows!

Each make of vehicle is different, some you can and some you can't do without removal of the dash etc. Get a Haynes Manual read through the relevant chapters then judge for yourself if you can do it. They are not that difficult, just a lot of wires etc.to mark up for replacement. If you feel confident then get the book, read up and have a go yourself.
