Daughter flew in from Glasgow last night to land at 8.15pm.
Eventually, at 10.30 they managed to get the passengers off the plane onto a bus

Is it short staff, could not care less or something else. Did not realise things were that dire. Could not organise pi55up in a brewery

Must be staff shortages. There's a lot of people off with covid lately in all workplaces and in somewhere like an airport where there are strict rules and regulations to be followed, it is causing massive delays. Can't be helped, I'm sure those off with it would rather not be having it.

Antivaxxers and covid deniers will die? Yes, but not all of them.

Just more than people who take sensible precautions.

Cannot understand, staff shortages or whatever, someone is not aware people are sitting on a plane waiting to get off for 135 minutes. One wonders if there is anyone on duty. All cannot be down with Covid.

Essential workers take sensible precautions like doctors and nurses. Would hate to think what would happen if other essential workers hid under the bed also

People left to find other jobs, many, many of those will not return and recruitment with training takes time.
