Hi, we recently discovered that if the heating is on and the HW tries to come on the actuator won't open the HW valve. Similarly if the HW is already on and the heating gets triggered then the heating actuator doesn't work. They both work fine via override if neither is on So the valve units seem to be OK.
The system is programmed via a Honeywell programmer and there are two 2-port valves (V4043H1056). The boiler is a Vaillant ecotec condenser fitted about 3 years ago and all the switching was renewed then too, we believe it all worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago
(Clocks changed?).
Room thermostat has not been altered. Programmer status lights indicates system is working but obviously it isn't in reality.
That's about all I can think to say
Could anyone suggest what the problem might be - seems to me replacing actuators would not solve anything. Thanks.
