Heating not working cable connected to valve problem

Hello sorry i will try again but be more clear. My writing is not that great. Im having trouble with my central heating system.

Originaly everything was working fine. both hot water and heating.
I have a small white box in the living room which i can program to put the heating on at certain times during the day. This seems to be working ok however when the heating is supposed to start the actuator honeywell vc4613 switch will move but nothing else happens.

There are two cables coming from it one to the electric board housing the systems electricals.

The other is a cable which has the holes in a round plug. It connects to a small round 3 pin piece which is connected to a pipe with cold water running through it. Originally I could push the cable and it would start the motor and get central heating for a while.

I believe that doesnt work anymore.

The motor is not making noise, but everything is switching on ok.

hmm ok then perhaps i need to simply say, my heating is not working. My hot water is.

The small black device on the T fitting looks like a flow switch or possibly a temperature switch.
From one of the other pics it would appear to be connected to terminals 7 and 6, and if so, connecting those terminals together would make the system work.

However - that is all a guess and could be totally wrong.
Certainly not clear what the device is for, or what the intended operation of the system actually should be.
Even if correct, that device has a purpose, and bypassing it may well have undesirable consequences.

What type of boiler do you have? Is it solid fuel such as wood or coal?
Also, further pictures / info on the whole system would be useful, rather than just small parts of it.

Looking closely at one of the pictures I could see what looked like a water to water heat exchanger. This got me thinking district heating. In which case, the "thing on a tee" is probably a pressure switch.

So the advice then would be to find the expansion vessel, pressure gauge etc and see what the system pressure is - it might just need topping up.
