Heating not working

I have an intermittent problem with an Ideal Classic HE15 boiler.
When both the heating and water are on, the burner will only stay alight for about 30 seconds before cutting out and leaving the fan running continuously.
If I only have the water timed to come on, it is able to heat the tank, albeit the burner doesn’t run continuously to do this. Radiators barely get above tepid when both are on and water hardly heats up. Things I’ve tried include:
Closing all radiators except those closest to the boiler,
Draining and refilling the system
Bleeding all radiators, air release valve and pump.
Adding automatic air release valve to towel radiator in the room above the boiler
Holding motorised valve in the open position
Removing screw on front of pump and spinning motor inside
Removing boiler casing, disconnecting and reconnecting the red and blue tubes attached to the air pressure switch

After fiddling with the motorised valve, the air pressure switch tubes and replacing the casing, the burner did stay on continuously and I was able to open all radiators with room thermostat up full until everything was piping hot including the water. Thought this had done the trick but the following morning when heating and water were timed to come on, the same problem arose – barely any hot water and radiators all tepid, fan on boiler running continuously, and burner only firing up for a few seconds every five minutes or so.
Local plumber had a very quick look (didn’t open boiler casing) and suggested a power flush. I don’t think this is the problem as the water was all clean when the system was drained and I have had the whole thing running full bore and piping hot since.
Any ideas as to what to try next gratefully received.

Why not call a boiler engineer who specialises in repairs?

Does your boiler not have a display?

Tony

No, there's no display on the boiler.

How do I find a boiler engineer speacialising in repairs?

Also as an intermittent fault, it may not be the boiler. Seeing as I've had it working properly, I don't want to find that someone reaches the same point, leaves it working then it faults again. Was hoping to try a few more obvious things myself (if there are any) before getting someone else in.

Looks like it might have been blocked condensate drain. Disconnected this and water gushed out. Have left this diconnected and it appears to be running fine.

It connects into the sink waste and that was pretty badly blocked up. Have cleaned that out but need to check condensate drain pipe as well before reconnecting.
