heating now working after wired up wrong

Hi,

proper screwed up here... was wallpapering the kitchen and wanted to wallpaper behind the sockets so switched everything off and disconnected the central heating/water control box..... craked on but when it came to connecting back up it blew the fuse... idiot!!!! found that id connected the power into the ch/water input and vice verser. Fuse had blown in the power switch located next to it, replaced this now when its powered on the boiler wont kick in... Can anyone help?? ive replaced the control panel and this changes nothing

initially connected the power cables from main power supply into the ch/water pins and the ch/water cables into the power. on the programmer

Depending on what boiler it is, sometimes the supply goes direct to the boiler and then power is taken an output on the PCB for the controls. if this is the case in your situation then if you have managed to blow the fuse in the spur, you may have blown a the input fuse on the boiler pcb as well
