I'll try and keep this to the salient points;

System - Worcester Condensing Boiler, Megaflo Cylinder, Honeywell Time Clock - all approx 18 months old.

Problem - Time clock shows hot water is on, but valve doesnt activate & boiler doesnt fire.

If I switch the power off to the whole system and restart after 5 or 10mins usually clears the problem for a while. Leads me to suspect software glitch somewhere. I suspect a timeclock fault.

How best can I test whether this is the case, what else should I look at?

Thanks
JB

I have been having a problem with Honeywell ST9400 Programmers recently where the LED is lit to say HW on but no output from programmer. another one kept switching the CH continuous all on it's own!! I too would suspect the programmer :wink:

far better if you tell us the model of each item you have.

What model of Ford car do I have? Do you know how many cylinders it has?

Tony

Thanks Boilerman, funny enough my programmer is an ST9400C.
The other bits of kit are;

Boiler - Worcester Greenstar 24i System Mk4
Cylinder - Megaflo
