Hi, need some help please am worried. Our lovely plumber fitted a solid fuel stove that runs 7 radiators, then went on holiday. We lit the fire and the pump came on at 8 this morning and hasn't gone off yet. The rads are red hot and the house is toasty but the pump is still running & I cant leave it like that. The last one cut on and off all the time and we left that one on all winter because we live in a cold place, cant do that with this one... Can anybody tell me what is happening with it? No plumber for a fortnight!

The pump will run as long as the hi-lo stats are detecting heat.
Assuming its installed as such.
What stove do you have?

We had the old stove for 12 years. The pump on that one cut in & then went off. This new one, the pump is not going off at all. We leave the stove on 24/7 all winter. It surely cant be good for the pump to run continuously all the time? Its a Parkray Cumbria 111. Thanks for all help!
