Has anyone installed the Heatrae Sadia Electromax units which are a combined electric boiler and HW store, I believe you can get them to run wet u/f heating as well as the HW.
Are they normally connected to a low rate tariff, if so is there a preference between Economy 7 or Economy 10. Obviously E10 will offer more off peak hours but I heard there are limited supply companies out there that offer E10 (does Eon??), and also it may not necessarily be cheaper than E7 in the long run.
Heatrae Sadia say the u/f heating can be controlled in much the same way as if it was connected to a gas boiler, but how is the HW controlled? does this only come on when the low rate tariff is on or can you have a separate timer for the HW and use it out of the set hours.?
