Hi All,

In my utilitty room, i am getting lots of condensation when ever i use my tumble dryer.

I have been advised to add a air brick to improve the air flow and resolve the condensation.

I have two builders come come in and tell me i need to have a air brick at different heights, can somebody please help me and guide me on what height the air brick should be at.

Also, does anyone think my tumble dryer is on the blink?

Well heat rises so higher would be better. Post in the Appliances section for answers as to whether your Mr Tumble is playing up.

An airbrick is not going to to do jack for tumble drier condensation ... at any height

Have you tried venting it to the outside? Or is it a condenser?

Its a condenser, hotpoint ultima.

Apart from replacing it, are their any other options I have?

You should not be getting any condensation from a condenser.

You will get hot air though, and that may be the problem, and if you do have cold surfaces then a mechanical extract fan would be better.

But it all depends on the actual room and other factors.
