Hi guys really need your advice.

Hi had my kitchen walls knocked down and had the all area plastered.

I asked another guy to come in and only paint the walls that were dry but this massive wall was still wet and the guy painted it over with a mist coat I think (diluting Crown matt emulsion paint). No additional paint has gone over it.

What should I do? Wait a few weeks before painting over?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Contact emulsion can be used over damp newly plastered walls.
Contract emulsion is used in new properties to allow drying out over the coming months.
If it's a vinyl matt or durable emulsion that will be a problem sealing in the moisture

Put a house fan of any sort in room to dry it out.
Maybe open window a tad.
Don't dry by putting heaters in room. Air movement is better.
It will be fine

If moisture has been sealed in by emulsion won't the plaster be affected before it dries properly?

No. Contract matt will allow for drying through.
There are some paints you can apply after skim when it's still wet.
Not the best idea imo but some use. Rush job paint I guess.

Just leave it.
