I have a dimmer switch than has been given to me, but have no instructions.

The switch I would like to replace is a simple single light switch, operating 1 light. I believe it was used in asimilar setup previously.

The dimmer switch has 4 terminals, load, line1, line2 & loop. Does anyone know which terminals to use for the 2 wires from the original switch?

The dimmer is a Clipsal E31PD400.

Thanks in advance.

I would go for Load & L1 ...The L2 will be for 2-way applications.
