Help me choose a drill (and drill bits)

I found the heller drill bits to be very good but not durable.
I have a set of Bosch for my cordless (when they were made in Germany) and perform perfectly after 20 odd years.
For sds I still have the same makita bits that came with the drill and go through anything like butter, very clean precise holes.
