HI i am having problems with my washing machine and sink. When my machine drains it fills up the sink with water and does not drain away it normally takes a couple of hours.
I have unscrewed all the pipes and have given them a good clean and when i put a bucket of water down the sink it all drains away nicley, but then when i use the wasing machine again the sink fills up and the water does not want to drain! I then unscrew the u bend to drain the water into a bucket, then put it back together and put the bucket of water that has just come from the sink back down the sink and it all drains away!! So i'm a bit confused as i know that the sink may fill up when the washing machine drains but then i dont understand why the water wont run away? any help will be very appriciated?
