Our bosch integral oven trips the "rcd controlled circuits" breaker on our fuse boar. It is intermittent and tends to happen when the temperature is put up high. The cooker rcd is unaffected.

We called a repair company who said it was the element on the fan assited oven which they replaced but it still trips the rcd. They have said that the only thing they can do is replace the oven but it is only 5 years old which seems no age.

Just wondered if anyone had experienced the same problem or can help.

Thanks in advance

Andy

Some ovens have more than one element so did they change the right one if you have more than one?
Possible it may be a wiring fault either in the supply lead or cooker connection unit/socket (depending how connected)

A faulty element can manifest itself when it gets hot but appear perfectly ok when cold (just had to change all four elements on a hotpoint double oven in a new build (builder stored the oven in a damp container for too long before fitting took 10 mins for the elements to go low insulation resisitance when turned up fully)
