Hi I have been searching the internet all day and I can't find an answer to my problem. Now, I have never really decorated before but have decided that my entrance hall is looking tatty, and now I have some spare time it's going to get sorted.

The problem is this, the corner of the plasterboard walls are bowing out, and have been for some time, but they wont sit flat and I have no idea how to solve the problem!

any ideas please?

The old corner tapes are broken and will need to be removed. The best thing to do would be to fit a rigid galvanised thin coat corner bead, and have the corner/wall skimmed, a far nicer job and much stronger.. It wouldn't take a plasterer long to do a job like that. Get a couple of quotes locally from reputable plasterers.
