I have a radiator in my attic which is stone cold. I have opened the TRV fully and bled the radiator. Following advice from previous postings, I then closed off all the other radiators, but still no joy. I am now about to try some more advice i.e. remove the trv and check if the in is stuck.

The trv is an old style Danfoss one, with the trv pointing out to the side as opposed to being upright. (like the Danfoss RA2950 TRV Head model but without the clip)
The problem is that I don't know how to take it off. I have tried minimum force as I am not sure what may happen if I use brute force. There are no clips that I can see that are holding it on

Any ideas anybody?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Some have a small hex head screw, some you twist the collar until it clicks, then pull off the TRV head.
