Help please on room vents

hi im new on here, i'v had a look around but cant find the answer to the question i have, im decorating my house i have recently moved into and there is air vents throughout the house in between every room.

the house has a new combi boiler up in the attic as well as new radiators throughout the house, also house is double glazed all windows have air vents.

the question is can i fill in the vents between the rooms now there is a new heating system and vents on the windows in all rooms ???

thanks for your help on this as im stumped, the house is 30+ years old and has vents my last house a new build didn't ?????

Air flow is very important in a house to avoid condensation.
As a decorator I wouldn't like to say whether it is wise to block your vents but I'm sure this question could be answered more competently in the Building or even Plumbing and Heating forums.

MODS, any chance of moving to the most suitable section please? :)

thanks for the reply, might have to look for more modern style vents than the old plaster ones
