I have a Potterton Promax HE Plus A boiler which is 18 months old.
It has suddenly started to lock out on Error Code 133 which is given as Interuption of Gas Supply or Flame Failure. I hasten to add that I have been turning the boiler off at night and it's when I turn it on in the morning the problem occurs.
When I turn the selector switch to heating the boiler sounds as if it is going through a starting sequence with various clicks from the circuit board area, pump running, fan running ............... then eventually locks out on Error Code 133. There appears to be no problem with the gas supply.
Once running there are no further problems. The heating system reacts to the room thermostat and hot water supply is fine.
Any suggestions or advice will be much appreciated.
