HELP! Replacing room stat: Honeywell 42003840-001

I need to replace my Room Stat, I replaced it with what I thought was correct but it blew my fuse. I need some help

Below are pictures from my exsisting stat.

I belive the wires are
Red -> Live?
Blue -> Netural?
Yellow -> Controller/signal/switched live?

I need to know how to wire my new one, any help????

That should be correct. If so your new stat should be Red to 1 and Yellow to 2. Put the blue (neutral) in a piece of terminal block and don't connect it to anything.

you need to trace the cables back to the wiring centre to find out which wire is doing what, the colours dont mean anything.
