Good afternoon,

your help would be greatly appreciated. I need to replace my dad’s analogue Honeywell room stat with a wired digital one. Below is the wiring of the existing stat.

I interpret them cables running from left to right to be the yellow & green (earth), the blue (neutral), the brown (live), grey or is it black (unknown).

I understand that that only 2 wires are needed for DT90E. The earthing one is not required, not sure of the other not to be used. Please identify the 2 cables that are needed and which terminals in the the DT90E they go in. I plan to use a terminal block for the 2 unused cables.

Thank you in advance.

USE wires in 1(live in) and 3 live out
isolate earth and 2 (neutral)
use A and B IN DT90

To confirm. Old stat terminal 1 wire goes into DT90E terminal A and old stat wire 3 goes into DT90E terminal B?

Thanks in advance.

yes, but to be honest if you get them the wrong way round wont make any difference, it is just a switch
