First timer on the forum, so be nice lol

Hi all,

Just looking for some help on installing a Drayton Digistat 3 onto a Vokera Compact.

Should be common live to pin 1 and call for heat on pin 3 (normally open) on the Digistat.

On the boiler the common live is easily identified as the brown live on the distribution terminal block which is the 4th terminal on the block to the right (correct?), having trouble identifying where to connect the call for heating wire - i assumed terminal 3 on the right hand block but this blew the fuse on the distribution block!

So can someone help with identifying the correct terminals? Also should i be leaving the mechanical timer installed ad if so should it be switched on, off or auto?

Thanks in advance
ps my plumber wasnt sure, so couldnt do the job, apparently gloworm boilers are easy..............................but i aint got one of those

If i undo everything i have done, the boiler still operates off the internal clock.

After some reading on the forum, have i been wrong to assume that it would be using high voltage live? Should it be using a common live that is low voltage switching?

Ok how i didnt manage to fry the stat i will never know, but i have studied the electrical diagram in the manual, and yes it is low voltage switching and i now have the boiler running via the Digistat 3 hoorah!!!!!!

Assumption is the mother of all f**k ups as they say
