I moved into a new house 18 months ago and was only given the code to set the alarm when leaving the house or going to bed. The alarm panel is now flashing bf and the fault and service light is illuminated. Every 10/15 minutes the internal alarm is going off until i enter the alarm code. Does anyone know how to disable the alarm? I'll call an engineer tomorrow, but don't want to be up all night before then!

Scantronic 9800 System. (Red LED Keypad?, That was a question to confirm).
You need a 7ah battery (12vdc).
Code and clear only works for a while.
It may be on "engineer reset" so you will need one or a manual.
