help urgent water coming down through ceiling

Hi guys I was taking up the floor upstairs using a circular saw set at the depth of the floor board and unfortunately i caught the top of the how water pipe to the bath I have turned of all the stop valves downstairs.

Can I fix the cut in the pipe of do I have to cut it off and replace

Hmmm...

you 'could' fix the hole with 'Plumbers Mait'. You'll get it from B&Q on the plumbing section but if you want my advice...

Replace the section with new copper pipe. If you're unable to solder then a short length of copper pipe with 2 straight compression joints will do the job.
