Help! Wax stain on carpet

Absorbent kitchen towel works well too.
Place kitchen towel or other blotting material over wax, apply warm iron (start with temperature low); apply iron to top of towel, if you don't get wax off at first attempt, gradually increase temp and don't leave the iron in contact for too long - just a quick pass will melt it, and the kitchen towel blots it up easily.
