Help with folding down Flymo handle

I have a Flymo Ultraglide electric hover mower and cannot fold down the handle according to the instructions that I need to pack it to send it away.

Can anyone help please?

Normally you just pull the handles near to where they hinge outwards or push them in and then fold it down.

Thanks. I tried both of those but won't budge and I don't think that's what the instructions I attach say?

Pull each handle outwards smartly.....you'll need to pull hard though, against the click heard on initial assembly.
