My neighbor has brought a new motor for his extractor. He has disconnected all the wires and now is not sure where they go. He has asked me to look at it for him
There are no model or make codes on the unit itself so iam having trouble locating diagrams. Please can some explain where the wires go to in the terminal block

The motor is CPH100ss which has an external light unit and a prewired capacitor, there is the a motor loom , there is a switch control unit with neon.
Switch contol unit has 6 wires from it.

There is a 6 way terminal block that only has a live feed to it at present.

1. white : this comes from the internal mcb in the switch unit
2 Black : this also comes from the internal mcb and links to the fan high switch
3 Brown : which goes to switch 1 ( lights ? )
4 Blue : which goes to fan low switch
5 Red : which goes to fan med switch
6. Purple which connects mid point at the switch unit ( i think this is permanent live to the switch)

Please see photos and my bad drawing.

I really hope someone can explain this to me.

Thanks

Steve
