Hi all,
Quick question. In my loft ive got a horizontal beam ( there are 2 in total about 2 mtrs apart) and they feel very loose. The house was built in 1972 and has been ecothermed/plasterboarded aswell before i moved in. There are the normal beams, with two long support beams going down the lenght of the loft, which have 4 supporting supports. My question is why is the cross member loose. Its a right pain in the ass when i go up to the loft because its about 1m high meaning ive got to bend down.
Is there anyway these can be changed to allow more room?
