Hi, wondered if anyne can tell me briefly what is needed to finish off an underfloor heating system ? The house in question is currently heated by an oil fired boiler with an open vented /radiator system but an extension has been added and left with two pipes sticking out of the floor.I have not tackled one before but have seen a kit in Screwfix for £400 and wondered how difficult they are to fix and balance with the rest of the existing house.I am told the extension has been like this for some time and now the owner is having difficulty getting a plumber, so he has asked me ,although I am really a boiler technician.Any help much appreciated.Thanks. :)

Goto say avoid a diy shed. Get some info on what pipe is in the floor then get the MI on that product. Its by the book or by by..

I advise you to pressure test the pipework before you spend any money on more kit... ...could this be why it has not been finished?

Make sure it will hold >6 bar hydraulic pressure without drop over a 24 hour period before you commit to making it work. No customer will thank you for spending £400 + and then come back for more when the damp patches appear
