Dear all,

I have noticed one of my rooms was getting too warm, typically change thermostat battery to solve problem. On this occasion it was the case, so concluded it must be a faulty electric actuator. Replaced latter (Danfoss 230V NC), hot water reduced substantially when I feel the pipe to that room from manifold, but 12hrs later I still feel a slight warmth when compared to the other pipes which are set to no heat.

The valve pin, presses and depresses nicely..or at least it feels like it does.

Any clues on what I could be doing wrong, or what I should be looking at would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Out of the blue, temperature started rising again..its a good summer day here, yet this particular pipe is warm.
Anyone has any suggestion please ?

TIA

Dan,

I am no DIY expert, so thought actuator pic was enough.
My question was generic, I replaced thermostat battery and fitted a new NC actuator, yet stil get hot water passing...so what else should I look into.
My system is Danfoss actuator, manifold distributing to few bedrooms and worked perfectly fine until now. I must admit, I am not 100% if the one room giving my headaches has always been working as intended, i.e when I turn down thermostat temp, it no longer calls for heat.

TIA

Finally fixed it with a bit of common sense and logic, despite the most unhelpful comments and attitude I have even seen in any forum.
