Hey everyone, don’t suppose someone can answer a very basic query. I have a concealed bath tap that i’m ready to install as pictured. However, I want to use hep20 brass male coupler for the Hot and Cold. I’ve already tested and they fit and screw in well. But i’m guessing i need to be using ptfe? Or some jointing compound? to ensure a tight seal. If anyone can advise that would be very helpful. As they’ll be concealed and tiled over, i won’t have any access to them afterwards.. so worried if I get leaks.

Yes to either jointing compound or PTFE tape. Loctite 55 gets a few mentions on here
Vote for loctite 55 here used it for over 10 years at one point had a team of 12 .
We use nothing else never yet had a leak .
