Hi - I've got an ancient Saunier Duval System 400/40 fanned flue sealed system boiler, which has stopped heating the water, though the central heating still works.
It regularly loses pressure so I flip the fill line to boost it, but I think I over-filled it last time and the water won't heat. The pipes exiting the boiler get hot when the central heating is on but not when the water heating is on, so I don't think it's a blockage further on. I've also bled the radiators, just because I'd run out of other ideas!
How can I lower the pressure in the boiler? Or is this something I should get a pro in to do?
