Hikvision DVR Image settings

I have a DS-7208HUHI-K1 and Hikvision DS-2CE56H1T-IT3Z 5MP.

Any downside going with highest settings on all options under image settings?

i.e

5mp, (possible to have 4mp 25 fps)
H.265,
Highest video quality (vs high, medium, lower, low etc),
12 fps
1440 kbs (default)

Depends on hard drive size ?

Higher settings for stream and record just means more bandwidth and more space. If you have the hard drive room and the internet speed run it max.

Go for the highest fps. 12fps loses too many frames when playing back.
But you need a large HD, and one designed for cctv use, not a standard computer type that will fail sooner.
