Sorry but I wasn't really sure where to post this as it's a question of aesthetics really.
I have PD plans to do a hip to gable loft conversion on my semi detached Edwardian house. I've been told that I could also start this and apply for PP to do a side two storey extension with a gable end and I would probably get it.
So I could end up with a house that has a gable end on the original part and then a two storey side extension that also has a gable end.
The thing is the neighbour I'm attached to has an identical house and I'm just wondering whether it will look odd to have a pair of houses attached to each other that look very different?
I know all matters of aesthetics are subjective but I would value any opinions.
Thanks
