HISSING FROM SIME FRIENDLY FORMAT 80E BOILER

I rent flat from estate agent. when I moved in this flat pressure on the boiler was below 1 bar, so I asked them to fix this. After that everything with this boiler was alright. Unfortunately two days ago boiler started to hissing and whirling. I'm wondering what to do. Is this possible that this boiler is infect? how can I check the level of the water?

please answer me in simple way (I just moved to UK and I can't understand every technical words)

Sounds like a leak in the system.
