Hi all
This may be simple to answer but I want to check it before starting to cut/redirect things.
I've recently had my gable end rendered which has added approx 25mm to its thickness. Prior to that, it was pebbledashed and flush to the existing brickwork. The existing pipe work was historically "bent" round the corner to attach it to the downpipe and always looked bent but now the render has been added, it looks even more bent as shown in the attached pictures.
I'm unclear how best to rectify the problem to make it look better cosmetically to straighten it and then get it round the corner to attach to the downpipe. Is it just a matter of joining 2x 90 degree bends and if so, should it be done at the top or bottom to look best.
To add to the issue, it's old Polypipe Terrain 62mm but the required bits are still available online.
Any advice at all greatly appreciated, ti's.
PS the end of the guttering is temporary just to stop it dripping down the new render!

Move downpipe outlet towards window a bit then down wall.
Causing issues being right on the end

As Wayners says move the down spout toward the window then rake it back to the wall and run it down the wall. An in-line gutter connector will then give you extra length to the stop end and look much better. Take it around the corner much lower down then down to the drain and fit a diverter to your water butt.

Can’t you extend the gutter line by cutting into the dry verge?
