Hive Thermostat and Main Eco Elite 30

Hi,

I'm wanting to install the hive system on my boiler, but there's something I'm unsure with. I found the following post which has the exact setup as mine but I'm not sure on the next step.

See attached photo, which I took of my terminal block and numbered A1-5 and B1-5.

So my understanding is that the black and grey wire from a 5 core cable would go from where the loop cable is (A1, A2) to points 1 and 3 on the hive receivers.

I'm unsure where I would put the live and neutral of the same cable into the terminal box. I'm thinking using the points B4 & B5 and keeping the wires that are already there? Or do I connect from the fused spur like the manual diagram (but would require a separate cable).

Correct with you connection from the loop to 1 and 3 on hive,live neutral earth can come from boiler or fused spur

Excellent thank you, I’ll go with putting L, N, & E in B3-5 so there will be effectively two wires at each point. Should be tidier that way.
