I was painting the inside of the boiler cupboard and must have knocked the cable for the hive receiver. 2 cables were knocked out of place (they werent tightened fully) and i am trying to out them back in position.

This reciever does heating and hot water. We have 2 zones in the house and the other reciever is working as normal and heating that zone.

In the position in the photo the heating is stuck permanently on in that zone and if the black and grey cables are swapped the hot water is permanently on.

Thanks for any help and sorry if I didn't explain throughly.

It’s terminals 3 and 4 you want, terminal 1 is hot water off. Try them, then if they’re the wrong way, just swap them around, job done (y)

Sorry that doesnt make any sense whatsoever, that is a single channel hive receiver and will only control a CH zone or a HW zone, no matter what configuration of the black and grey cables it can not control both
