Can anyone advise me how to wire a single channel Hive to control a Worcester Greenstar Highflow 440 combi boiler?

Providing you can remove the cover (some appliances require safety checks afterwards). Obtain some 4 core heat resistant flex cable then,

LS to L
NS to N
Link L and common
LR to 3

you can use the single channel if you just want to control the CH but if you want to control the HW from the hive also you will need the dual channel
