Hey

I just got some Hive TRV’s and realise my current valve is a Caleffi, can anyone confirm this and does anyone know where I can get adaptors from?

My programmable TRV heads came with a range of different options, M30 x 1.5mm seems the standard, but it will work on others

an example shown, also 1732753398185.png some makes are better than others, I have three makes fitted, two auto set the operating travel and one actually reports if too much or too little, odd the one which does not was the most expensive, the Energenie.

again it shows a selection of adaptors which come with the head, it say on Hive advert
Your Hive Radiator Valves come with the two most common valve body adaptors and other adaptors are available free of charge from Hive.
And This guide seems to show most options

When I tried to thread the trv onto the adaptor it didn’t seems to go on easily, like something was stopping it. So thought it was perhaps the adaptor being wrong for the valve.

Set the valve head cold so plunger is retracted, think that's right way around, mine have a setting procedure to retract the plunger fully, maybe Hive does also, not used Hive.
