Hive

Morning. I have just had Hive installed by British Gas, and I must say, I love it. Easy to use and actually useful. I have invested in a few light bulbs and a plug socket. I am wondering though, does Hive have any solid plans for future products other than light bulbs and sensors? It is very hard to find anything out. Perhaps CCTV or colour changing LED bulbs....? Alarm system perhaps?

If they are, they keep it to themselves. We've had Hive for a couple of years and to be honest it seems to lag behind other alternatives. You can look at Product Ideas in the help section of the app for some info on what they are looking into but they are very slow at rolling out other products. The new thermostat is good and way better than the old one so perhaps thats a postive sign that new products will be of a decent quality if not very quickly introduced.
