HKC SW-10270 ??

Hi, does anyone have any experience of the HKC SW-10270?

My builder has spec'd this as part of a full refurb and wanted to check that this will do the job?

What job?
What is the full specified system?

We have not seen the job, do not know what rooms are involved or the full specification of the system.

As far as a manufacture goes there are many that like it in the trade,

Thanks. It is for a house (that currently being refurbed/re-wired) - the layout & possible locations enclosed below.

"The system is Grade 2 hardwired with onboard wifi card to use with smartphone app, 2no. proximity remote keypads (front & side door), 3no. door sensors, 5/6 no. PIRs. No remote monitoring service."

My main query was that i had not hear of HKC and I see little mention of them on here; so wasn't sure whether I was being offered a cheap/low quality alarm system.

How does it typically compare to Honeywell galaxy in price/ability? I am not necessarily after an all singing/dancing system, but would like to do the job asked of it and be reliable.

Every installer has there own preference on kit.

This isn't usually based on much more than familiarity and if they have been caught with their pants down to be honest. Pick any manufacturer of anything and compare it to all the others it competes against and ask what everyone prefers you will get a mixed bag of replies and for different reasons.

HKC is not cheap and nasty by any means, I don't use the kit or Honeywell so can't compare it on the most important part which is does it work reliably.

I can tell you that from a trade perspective a lot of people do like their kit.
